I’ve got to admit that I’m more than a little chuffed to see myself and my family (sans Lulu … maybe she’ll make an appearance?) comic-ized in Steve Denton’s Johnson City-based graphic novel “Hip Deep, Mountain High.” You can read it online, prior to printing, for a small donation. It’s serialized (like Dickens’ novels … or comic books), and well worth the $15. You can read the first chapter for free here – the pay version is up to chapter 4.

Hopefully, it’s cool with Steve if I post a few screen caps of the SFL, K and myself “comixed” — pretty cool stuff!
